Samsung accidentally but officially reveals upcoming Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Watch Active

As if we needed more confirmation, Samsung reveiled that the Galaxy Buds and sports-oriented smartwatch are on the way thanks to the 'accidental' addition of both to the Galaxy Wearable app.

Samsung rolled out an update for the Galaxy Wearable app and users spotted a couple new device options appearing in the application including the rumored Galaxy Buds and sports-oriented Galaxy Watch Active.

While both have been the subject of vicious online rumors that shared everything from suspected specs to model renders, now we have official images from Samsung to clear up any lingering suspicions.

When you open up the Galaxy Wearable app, right there on the front page you're provided with the ability to select the new devices which are accompanied by the following images as provided by SamCentral who was the first to spot the ‘blunder.'

As predicted, the Galaxy Watch Active ditches the classic Samsung smartwatch rotating bezel, though we don't yet know how that will change the user interface.

A Galaxy Fit pair was revealed, one with an "e" designation whose meaning is still unknown despite leaks dropping last month. It looks like these models took significant design inspiration from Fitbit.

Lastly, the Galaxy-branded wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds, look pretty much as expected based on numerous leaks. Not much is known yet about the specs, but they may be able to recharge on the back of the S10.

At this stage in the game, nothing new that we don't already know about is expected to debut at Samsung's Galaxy UNPACKED event next Wednesday beside the also more or less completely unveiled S10 smartphone lineup. Hopefully, the specs are as impressive as they are rumored to be.
