Japan’s beloved pianist, composer, singer and songwriter, Akiko Yano is celebrated for her avant-garde jazz and masterful piano playing. Since her debut in 1976, she has performed worldwide and produced dozens of albums, including one produced by T Bone Burnett in 2008. Joined by her longtime New York friends and virtuoso musicians, Will Lee (bass and vocals) and Chris Parker (drums), the Akiko Yano Trio will return for their annual concert at Joe’s Pub.
