After packaged together as trade pieces during two occasions, first with both players going from the Detroit Pistons to the Los Angeles Clippers, and then from the Clippers to the Philadelphia 76ers this year, Boban Marjanovic and Tobias Harris formed the tightest friendship across the NBA, as the two often switching cities yet never loosing each other. After Harris signed a 5–year, $180 million contract to remain a 76er, Marjanovic inked a 2–year, $7 million deal bringing him to Dallas. Now with each player signed to an opposing squad, the duo’s time joking around on the bench and enjoying pre–game dances poises to end once next season begins.

Not too long after the news detailing the break–up surfaced, Harris and Marjanovic took to Twitter to illustrate their feelings.

Staying in Philly, Harris now gets a chance to push for a championship as although the Sixers lost Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat this offseason, they remain a favorite to reach the NBA Finals after acquiring Al Horford. Harris averaged 18.2–points and 7.9–rebounds per game last year. Meanwhile, Marjanovic joins an exciting young Dallas team looking to rebuild with other pieces such as Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Utilizing his impressive 7’3 stature, last year Marjanovic averaged 8.2–points per game shooting 63% from the field. Marjanovic also works as an effective glass eater off the bench snatching 5.1–rebounds per game last year

Throughout the years the “Bobi and Tobi show” excited fans no matter which city the pair took their talents to. Whether on the basketball court or not, Marjanovic and Harris spent moment after moment by each other’s side, including a hilarious stint where both hoopers traded in their basketball shoes for cameras one night and masqueraded as paparazzi at the Oscars. .

However, with NBA players continuing to shuffle from team to team like the league’s never seen before, perhaps one day the Bobi and Tobi show will add more episodes.
