Taco Bell launches sizzling sunglasses for summer

Taco Bell has a hot new fashion collaboration on the way for summer.

The fast-food chain has joined forces with Diff Charitable Eyewear on a five-piece collection of sunglasses, as reported by WWD. Reading glasses and blue light glasses also feature in the collection, which spans some of the accessories brand's most popular frame styles, such as its ‘Luka' and ‘Sawyer' styles. Each purchase will see a pair of reading glasses donated to charity.

The colorful frames come presented in taco-shaped cases, with cleaning cloths disguised as hot sauce packets to double down on the taco theme. They will be available to purchase online, as well as at the upcoming 'The Bell Hotel' resort slated to open in California next month. The company is launching other vacation-themed merchandise for both guests and other Taco Bell fans including swimsuits for women designed with L*Space and trunks for men created with Chubbies, as well as a pool float and beach umbrella and Taco Bell x ISlide Taco Slides.

This is not Taco Bell's first move on the fashion industry -- the chain previously teamed up with the clothing retailer Forever21 on an apparel series for men and women that featured body suits covered in tortilla chip motifs, cropped hoodies featuring the restaurant's logo, and tees stamped with the slogan ‘Tacos 4Ever.'
