La Liga side Eibar announced Wednesday it has acquired Takashi Inui from Real Betis, bringing the Japan winger back to the club where he started in Spain.
A standout for Akira Nishino's side at last year's World Cup in Russia, the 31-year-old Inui spent three seasons with Eibar before moving to Betis in the 2017-2018 season.
After making just 14 appearances for Betis last season, Inui spent the second half of the campaign on loan with Alaves.
A native of Shiga Prefecture, Inui made his professional debut with Yokohama F Marinos before spending three seasons with Cerezo Osaka.
The speedy, 1.69-meter attacker left Japan to join German side VfL Bochum in 2011. He played 75 games for Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankuft before transferring to Eibar in 2015.
