Late last week Chinese automobile company Nio announced the result of its recent collaboration with gaming hardware manufacturer Razer; together, the brands have developed a limited edition electric SUV featuring Razer's recognizable vibrant color palette and top-tier technology.
Shanghai-based electric vehicle manufacturer Nio on Friday revealed the first product created in partnership with the internationally known lifestyle gaming hardware brand Razer: the Nio ES6 Night Explorer Limited Edition Vehicle, a high-tech Razer-styled electric SUV.
While the model's design is recognizably Nio and has been built on the Nio ES6 Performance Edition, the Razer trim dresses the SUV up in carbon fiber decals, green calipers, Razer logo and trim, and adds a custom emblem to the rear.
Naturally, such a game hardware-inspired car would not be complete without Razer's Chroma and Hue Lights and THX Spatial Audio, features that have been integrated with the tech already existing within the model.
In terms of performance, all specs match that of the Nio ES6 Performance Edition: power output of 544 hp and 0 - 100km/h acceleration time of 4.7 seconds.
Only 88 units of this model -- available for purchase in China as of Friday -- will be created priced at 467,800 yuan.
