Actress America Ferrera and Eva Longoria lead a group of more than 200 writers, artists, and activists who have signed and published a letter of love and solidarity with Latinx all across the United States. This act against hate comes after the shooting in El Paso of August 3 in which a white man opened fire inside a Wal-Mart, killing 22 and injuring 24, as well as a new policy from the White House that makes it easier to deny green cards to Latinx.

"Over 200 Latinx leaders have come together to send a message of love and solidarity to our community during these dark times, and to call on all of us to speak out and fight for the humanity of all people. The list of celebrities who have signed the Rita Moreno, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Diego Luna, Salma Hayek, Rosario, Dawson, Gina Rodriguez, Diane Guerrero, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin.
