Deutsche Bank Says It Has Trump’s Tax Returns – And A Lot More

Rep. Jerry Nadler

Lawyers who represent Deutsche Bank have suggested that they have President Donald Trump’s long-sought tax returns.

The bank responded to an order issued by New York’s 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals that it wanted to know if Deutsche or Capital One Bank had any of Trump’s tax returns that the House Financial Services and Intelligence Committees issued subpoenas for.

These tax returns could be used in Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-New York) House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment investigation.

Lawyers for Capital One said the bank does not think “it possesses tax returns responsive to the subpoenas.”

Deutsche Bank is being targeted by Democrats because of previous loans it gave to Trump that were worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

The president had filed his own lawsuit in an effort to stop the committees from obtaining his financial information. There are currently several suits that Trump has filed in order to stop Democrats from being able to obtain his taxes.

Trump is suing House Democrats to stop them from getting his New York state taxes. He is also suing California over a law that would force all political candidates to give their tax information to have their name on ballots.
