Here’s The First Look At Emma Stone’s Glamorous Rendition Of Cruella De Vil

Anna Wintour once said that head to toe black was the most undaring fashion statement. I guess she hasn’t seen Emma Stone’s Cruella De Vil yet. A long black and velvet long skirt with chains that go front to back on one of her sides. Leather gloves, and a black leather jacket with her trademark pointy shoulder pads, make this new take on Cruella De Vil, one that plays by her own rules.

The most fashionista villain in Disney’s universe will make a big screen comeback on May 28, 2021, as stated in Disney’s D23 Expo. And, truth to be told, the first look at this production makes us wonder (and worry) what the plot of this film will be after some unfortunate remakes and spins offs (sorry, Maleficent, but I just can’t let go of that whole good fairy gone bad plot).

Come what may, Academy Award winner Emma Stone deserves the chance to reach younger audiences with this new rendition of the infamous Madame De Vil and we, as expectators, should avoid comparisons with veteran actress Glenn Close. At least until we’ve seen the final product.
