Patriots Release Antonio Brown After WR Accused Of Sexual Misconduct, Sending “Intimidating” Texts To Woman

The New England Patriots might have bitten off more than they can chew with their new hire Antonio Brown.

New England released the wide receiver after one of his accusers revealed to attorneys that Brown had contacted her this week with threatening texts.

The woman, who has yet to be identified, stated that Brown sent a group text from the phone number that Brown had used when she was painting a mural for him at his home in 2017. She stated through her attorney that the texts were encouraging others in the group to investigate the woman he considered a “Super broke girl.” Brown allegedly asked a specific person to “look up her background history,” then sent a screenshot of a photo from her Instagram page that showed her kids and added, “those her kids … she’s awful broke clearly.”

Brown has been introuble as of late, starting with problems in the locker room at Pittsburgh, then with the general manager at Oakland. Now, he faces multiple allegations of misconduct with women.

The woman’s attorney, Lisa J. Banks, wrote a letter to the NFL to address her client’s grievances. The league then quickly set up a meeting with investigators and the accuser’s legal team.

The woman claimed Brown hired her to paint the mural after the pair met at a charity event. She alleges that he came into the room where she was bent over while painting naked with only a towel hanging from his “parts.” The woman also alleged that she had dealt with this kind of behavior before and therefore did not initially panic. She added she didn’t know he was masturbating behind her until he ejaculated on her back and did not return. Although the woman is not seeking remuneration, she also claims he didn’t pay her the full amount. Only around $2,000.

Brown is also facing an allegation from a second woman he met in college who claimed Brown raped her last year in a hotel room. The accuser met with the NFL this week for ten hours to discuss the alleged incident.

The wide receiver’s second accuser claimed that she and Brown were paired up for a Bible study at school and that soon afterwards she started training Brown because she had a stretching and fitness studio. Brown said he needed training for his foot and flexibility. She claimed the pair met again last year and that she offered Brown a ride to her hotel room, where she alleged he raped her.
