About Blue Grotto SHIBUYA

This is an illumination event using blue LEDs that started out in Nakameguro in 2014. Since the event was moved to Shibuya in 2016, it has been hugely popular every year.
During the event, blue light bathes the 800m stretch from Yoyogi Park Keyaki Namiki to Shibuya Koen-dori, inviting visitors into a romantic and magical world.
With the addition of sound to the glittering lights in 2018, it earned a great reputation, attracting around 2.8 million people.
And it’s on again this year! Come and enjoy a different side of the lively and youthful Shibuya district during this month of magical atmosphere.
