What is Tokyo Strawberry Park?
Tokyo Strawberry Park is a popular entertainment spot in the city of Yokohama where you can go strawberry picking all throughout the year. In addition to strawberry picking, this theme park offers a host of fun ways to enjoy this fruit to the fullest, including a kitchen studio where you can try your hand at cooking up strawberry dishes; a buffet which serves Italian food made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and strawberry sweets; and pop-up stores that sell a wide variety of strawberry goods.
Special Christmas Event Only Available For a Limited Time!
This popular theme park will be holding a special limited time event called BERRY HAPPY X'MAS in the upcoming Christmas season.
During this event, restaurants and cafes in the park will offer special Christmas items on their menus, and there will be many fun and free events scheduled, including weekend workshops such as a strawberry pudding cooking activity and a mini diffuser-making session with a choice of your preferred scent.
On the weekends, guests can also receive a Christmas present from a strawberry man! (*Only for the first 20 visitors, limited to elementary school students and younger)
Event period: December 7 - December 24, 2019
Opening hours: Weekdays 11:00 am - 4:00 pm, Weekends and National Holidays 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Special Christmas-Themed Menus at the Park's Restaurant and Cafe
At Park Side Restaurant, a buffet restaurant where you can savor Italian dishes made with seasonal ingredients, they will be adding roast chicken to the menu for the Christmas season. The bone-in chicken thighs are roasted evenly and are wonderfully juicy and delicious. They're definitely worth a try!

ICHIGO LAB. continuously strives to bring out the delicious flavors and charms in strawberries with its dishes. One of their most popular dishes is a strawberry parfait, and for Christmas this year, they will be offering the Tappuri Ichigo no Mille-feuille Parfait (1,500 JPY (incl. tax)), which is made with an exceptionally generous heap of bright red strawberries and decorated with fresh whipped cream and custard cream. It's a gorgeous treat that's perfect for this season!
Plenty of Weekend-Only Events As Well!
During the BERRY HAPPY X'MAS event, there will also be many special events held on Saturday and Sunday. Here are two particularly noteworthy events!
Make Your Own Strawberry Pudding
STUDiO SWiTCH offers fun and easy cooking activities for park-goers. During the Christmas event, they will be holding strawberry pudding cooking lessons every weekend.
Participation fee: 1,000 JPY (incl. tax)
Hours: From 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm (Limited to first 16 people each session)
*3 years old and up only (Chaperone required for participants age 3-12)
Event duration: Approx. 1 hour
Make Your Own Strawberry Herbarium
On December 14 (Saturday) and December 22 (Sunday), there is also a herbarium-making activity! Create a cute decoration by packing real dried strawberries and dried flowers that have been immersed in a special oil into a jar. It makes for the perfect park memento or souvenir.
Participation fee: Small size (1 strawberry) 1,500 JPY (incl. tax)
Medium size (2 strawberries) 2,000 JPY (incl. tax)

Look at the Giant 3.6m Strawberry Tree!
A giant 3.6m strawberry tree decorated with 500 strawberries will appear in Tokyo Strawberry Park. Write your wishes on a strawberry-shaped card and decorate the tree with it as a commemoration of your visit! There are three spots within the park where you can collect stamps as well. If you are able to collect them all, you'll be able to receive an original tote bag and some treats, so be sure to give it a go!
