The Hoboken PATH station will be closed this weekend for signal maintenance, Port Authority officials said.
Because of the closure, the World Trade Center PATH station, scheduled to be closed on weekends through most of 2020 for Superstorm Sandy-related work, will be open this weekend.
Starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, the PATH station in Hoboken will be closed until 5 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 20. in order to complete “essential” signal maintenance at the station and in the adjoining tunnels.
The Journal Square-33rd Street line will operate on its normal weekend schedule, but there will be no service in and out of Hoboken.
During the Hoboken service outage, the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail system will cross-honor affected PATH riders at the Hoboken, Newport and Exchange Place stations, officials said.
