Toyota to bring a series of off-roading trucks to Chicago

Ahead of their Chicago Auto Show reveal next week, Toyota has teased the February 6 debut of new outdoorsy pickups "with a touch of nocturnal mischief."

Like at last year's Chicago Auto Show, Toyota is bringing some off-roading models to the Windy City to show off to its midwestern audience. On Tuesday, the company published a teaser image of only a wheel of a Tacoma and a fraction of the fender reeling through some dirt.

In the brief text that accompanied the image, Toyota only states that "the forecast for the Windy City looks sporty and outdoorsy, with a touch of nocturnal mischief as Toyota debuts new variants to the portfolio."

In 2019 at the same event, the brand debuted a refreshed 2020 Tacoma along with the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. In 2017 and 2018, a refreshed Tundra was revealed as was the TRD Pro package designed to prep trucks of adventures on any terrain.

The new Toyota variants will debut on February 6 at the Chicago Auto Show. The reveal will also be live streamed for those unable to attend the press conference.
