Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minnesota) is picking up momentum in the New Hampshire primaries with a third place win.

She was greeted with cheers as she walked on stage of a hotel in Concord. “Hello, America,” she said. “I’m Amy Klobuchar, and I will beat Donald Trump.”

The crowds followed with chants. “Beat Trump, vote Amy.”

Klobuchar spoke to the crowds for the first time as a leading contender in the Democratic race for the president. “My heart is full tonight, while there are still ballots left to count, we have beaten the odds every step of the way,” Klobuchar said. “We have done it on the merits, we have done it with ideas, and we have done it with hard work.”

Klobuchar held on to her underdog status, mentioning times where she’s been underestimated as a candidate. One moment she mentioned as a sort of turning point was the debate in Manchester last Friday.

“Then they predicted that we wouldn’t make it to the debate,” she said. “And man, were we at the debate in New Hampshire.”

Seen by many as her strongest debate, last week’s debate in Manchester put Klobuchar on the map for many Americans. Gaining millions in donations within the following 24 hours and being deemed the winner by many experts, Klobuchar has a force she’s yet to experience on the campaign trail. She encouraged her supporters to keep up the momentum.

“I do not have the biggest name up on this stage, I don’t have the biggest bank account. I’m not a political newcomer with no record, but I have a record of fighting for people,” Klobuchar said to the crowds. “I’m asking you to believe that someone who totally believes in America can win this, because if you are tired of the extremes in our politics and the noise and the nonsense, you have a home with me.”
