Snoop Dogg's Unexpected Collaboration Dream Comes True With Banda MS

Believe it or not, it's really happening. We know that Snoop Dogg loves banda music, and we have even seen the rapper on his Instagram having a great time while listening to banda groups, but the news that he will be teaming up with Banda MS for a live joint concert still came as a surprise.

The concert, titled "Dos culturas, una unión (Two Cultures, United)," will be held at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on July 11th.

The rapper had confirmed since October his plans of collaborating with the band from Sinaloa, Mexico. He even said they were working together to produce new music, but it wasn't until January that they got together to discuss the details, which have not been revealed yet.

"We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided. The love for music will unite both cultures because music can name the unnameable and communicate the unknowable," Snoop Dogg's website says about this unusual concert that many are waiting for.

musicIs Snoop Dogg Making A Banda Song?! Here's Why It Could Happen

Snoop Dogg is no stranger to Mexican regional music. He was even close friends with Jenni Rivera, as they both attended Long Beach Polytechnic High during the eighties and kept in touch over the years. When Jenni passed away in a tragic plane crash, Snoop Dogg was one of the celebrities who attended the funeral to pay his respects. And once in a while, he posts really cool videos of himself listening to banda hits and corridos; the Jenni one really melted everyone's heart.

Of course, this will be an amazing and very much expected concert for fans of both, and we can't wait to see if Snoop Dog and Banda MS will sing together. And if they do, it will be the best crossover ever.
