NFL legend Tom Brady denied rumors about him dating Ivanka Trump during an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show.

Stern repeatedly asked Brady if he “ever went out with” Donald Trump‘s daughter Ivanka.

Stern also claimed that “Trump always dreamed of Brady marrying Ivanka.”

“That was a long time ago in my life,” Brady said. “No, there was never that, where we ever dated or anything like that.”

Stern, however, pressured Brady to admit the fact that Trump wanted Brady to date Ivanka. He also claimed that Trump told him directly on his shows before.

“He never suggested that to me,” Brady insisted.

Trump did admit to Stern that he had tried to set Brady up with Ivanka in 2004.

“I think Tom’s a great guy, and I think he and Ivanka would make a great combination,” he said in a 2004 interview with Playboy.

Despite Trump’s hopes, Brady married Gisele Bundchen in 2009. Ivanka married Jared Kushner in that same year.

Brady made it clear that he is happy with how things turned out for him – claimed he married the “woman of his dreams” – and has no regrets. Stern, however, insisted that he and Ivanka would have made a great couple.

“I could see you [Brady] rather than Jared Kushner with Ivanka, honestly. I really could,” Stern said.
