Trump Lashes Out At Campaign Manager Brad Parscale After Polls Showed Him Losing To Biden, Threatens To Sue Him

WASHINGTON, DC - DECEMBER 06: U.S. President Donald Trump hosts a roundtable discussion with small business owners and members of his administration in the Roosevelt Room at the White House December 06, 2019 in Washington, DC.

President Donald Trump erupted at his campaign manager Brad Parscale on a telephone call last  Friday after polls in several battleground states showed presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden beating him in November. Trump needs to notch victories in the six states seen as 2020 battlegrounds—Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Florida, Arizona and North Carolina, to secure reelection.

Surveys conducted by the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Trump campaign revealed that job losses, deaths and political tensions during the coronavirus crisis have hurt the president’s standing in the 2020 general election campaign.

Trump reportedly cursed out and threatened to sue Parscale.

“I’m not f—ing losing to Joe Biden,” five sources claimed that Trump screamed at Parscale, according to the Associated Press.

Trump denied the allegations and tweeted Wednesday:

The president had also engaged in heated conference calls with several other top political aides, including senior advisor Jared Kushner and RNC chair Ronna McDaniel.

Trump’s suggestion last week that the ingestion of disinfectants and UV light treatments might prove effective against COVID-19 caused his political team to fret that his coronavirus briefings were doing more harm than good.

White House and campaign aides have urged the president to limit the briefings.
