Puré is one of the most popular gummy candy products in Japan. A package of Puré usually consists of heart-shaped, sugar-coated gummy candy.
Kanro, the manufacturer producing Puré, releases a new product line in collaboration with Pokémon. The adorable Pikachu adorns the package, and it also inspired the flavor and the shape of the new gummy candy.
The gummy candy in this series has a bright yellow color and comes in a flavor called Electric Tropika. Pineapple, mango, and banana paired with sparkling soda create a unique sparkling flavor that evokes of the cute, electric Pokémon character.
The limited-edition Puré Pikachu will be available from June 2, 2020. A 56 g package will retail for about 150 yen.
