After taking a long break from social media due to accusations of racism and bullying, Lea Michele has returned to Instagram. Michele posted a photo of herself on a hike, showing off her pregnant belly, on her Instagram story. Michele had previously been spotted on walks with her husband Zandy Reich and her mother Edith Thomasina.

Michele had chosen to lay low after she issued an apology, claiming she had learned to listen and take others perspectives into consideration. She said, “One of the most important lessons of the last few weeks is that we need to take the time to listen and learn about other people’s perspectives and any role we have played or anything we can do to help address the injustices that they face.”

On May 29, the Glee star had tweeted for George Floyd in order to show her support for the Black Lives Matter movement. However, she was quicklycalled out by Co–star Samantha Ware and otherGlee cast mates. Ware took to Twitter to call Michele out. She wrote, “REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISION GIG A LIVING HELL?!?!”

Michele had lost her partnership with HelloFresh after multiple accusations against her were made. The company tweeted, “HelloFresh stands in solidarity with those who are grieving, confused, hurt, and upset right now. Everyone has and will always be welcome at our table. We do not tolerate racism, discrimination, or violence of any kind, but most importantly, we stand in support of black communities, our employees, and our customers.”

Michele had announced her pregnancy on Instagram in early May. She captioned the photo of her holding her stomach in a long blue dress, “So grateful

💛

.”
