Fox News Host Tucker Carlson Mispronounces Kamala Harris’ Name Repeatedly On Air

After Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California) was announced as Joe Biden‘s running mate, Fox News launched an array of attacks Tuesday besmirching the former Attorney General of California.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson called Harris “one dimensional,” adding that “there are time-share salesman you could trust more” than her before going on to seemingly make fun of her name.

Although he claimed the mispronunciation was accidental, Carlson continued to say it incorrectly after his guest corrected him.

Sean Hannity framed Harris as having a “radical extremist record” and being extremely far left.

“This pick solidifies what’s the most extreme radical far-left out of the mainstream ticket of any major political party in American history,” Hannity said.

President Donald Trump then phoned in and joined Hannity in bashing Harris, saying she is “the most liberal person, supposedly, in the Senate.”

“I’m not sure that’s what the country wants – if it is, we’ve got problems,” Trump said. He continued: “[A] lot of people think it’s a dangerous choice” and that she “wants to raise taxes. She wants to get rid of your Second Amendment. No guns for protection, no nothing.”

Trump then claimed Harris plans to defund the military before promoting his vice president, Mike Pence.

“She wants to cut spending for the military and the vets,” he said. “I don’t quite get the choice, but we will have it out. We have a great vice president named Mike Pence and he will take care of business, just like he did the last time against a different candidate.”

Host Laura Ingraham took a different route in her opening remarks, taking aim at Biden more than Harris.

She read part of Biden’s campaign email announcing the Harris pick in which he said, “I’ve decided that Kamala Harris is the best person to help me take this fight to Donald Trump and Mike Pence and then to lead this nation starting in January 2021.”

She then commented: “Wait, wait, to lead this nation? Wasn’t that you supposed to be on the top of the ticket doing all that leading for us, Joe? You know, that whole presidency then? Come on, man. Even Joe is witted enough to understand that he’s not really going to be running the show if he wins in November.”
