'The Last of Us: Part II' is Sony's third highest-selling game in the US

Despite some of the franchise's fans criticising the sequel, it seems that many people were still eager to play it! According to a report by American market research company 'The NPD Group', the title has become Sony's third highest-selling game in the United States in the company's history. The Sony games that beat the Naughty Dog title were 'God Of War' and 'Marvel's Spider-Man'.

Not only that, but according to the NPD report, 'The Last of Us: Part II' is currently the third highest-selling game of 2020 so far in the United States: being beaten by 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' and 'Animal Crossing: New Horizons'.
