ラップという手法において、ボキャブラリーは非常に重要な要素である。自分のレパートリーとして理解している単語が多ければ多いほど、多様性のあるライムが書けるため、エミネムなどのラッパーたちは辞書を読み、自身のボキャブラリーを増やしていた。
以前、最もボキャブラリーが多いラッパーたちという記事が話題になっていたように、リリシストと呼ばれる人たちは様々なボキャブラリーのなかから詩的な表現を作り出すのだ。今回はそのようなラッパーたちのボキャブラリー能力を讃え、かつヒップホップから英単語を勉強するためにも、ラッパーたちが使用した言葉のなかから【WEBLIO英和辞典の学習レベル12以上】とされている高難度英単語をいくつか紹介したい
