Trump Says The Only Way He Can Lose Is If There’s A ‘Rigged Election’

DALLAS, TX - SEPTEMBER 14: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump speaks during a campaign rally at the American Airlines Center on September 14, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. More than 20,000 tickets have been distributed for the event.

President Donald Trump, during a rally in Wisconsin on Monday, said that if he loses the November election, it will be because the election is rigged.

“The only way we’re going to lose this election is if this election is rigged,” he said during the address.

Trump has been warning about the possibility of the mail-in voting fraud, hinting that he may not accept the results if he doesn’t get reelected.

“With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history,” Trump tweeted. “It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the election until people can properly, securely, and safely vote???”

In a recent interview with Fox News, Trump refused to comment on whether he would accept the election results. He claimed that though he doesn’t want the election to be delayed, he also doesn’t want to see a “crooked election.”

However, Trump’s Vice President Mike Pence claimed that he and the president “will absolutely accept the results of the election.”

Democrats have suggested that Trump has pressured Louis DeJoy – his longtime donor and supporter that he recently appointed as the new postmaster general –  to make it more difficult for the USPS to deliver mail-in ballots.
