Elon Musk has vowed to show a "working" demo of his Neuralink brain interface on Friday (08.28.20).
The Tesla and SpaceX boss took to Twitter to announce when he will show off the AI device he's been working on.
Retweeting iTrucker President, MargaretSiegien's tweet, which read: "#Neuralink, founded by

, is reportedly about to demonstrate a brain machine interface. How do you feel about mixing #AI with our brains?", Musk added: "Live webcast of working @Neuralink device
Friday 3pm Pacific (sic)"
Musk recently claimed the Neuralink interface will be able to stream music directly into a person's brain.
The billionaire entrepreneur unveiled the piece of tech which links brains with computers last year.
And after claiming it could help Alzheimer's and Parkinson's sufferers, he suggested it will be possible to stream music into the brain.
In response to a Twitter follower who asked about the feature, Musk responded "yes" it will be possible and also made a call for budding engineers to sign up to help develop the interface.
He wrote back: "If you've solved hard problems with phones / wearables (sealing, signal processing, inductive charging, power mgmt, etc), please consider working at engineering@neuralink.com.
"Solving high-volume, high-reliability, low-cost production problems is especially valued."
A previous demo version of the tiny sensor revealed thin strands that are implanted into the brain with a small incision via a robot.
Speaking at a San Francisco event in 2019, Musk explained:
"Ultimately, we can do a full brain-machine interface.
"They are tiny electrodes and the robot is delicately implanting them.
"This is something that is not going to be stressful to put in; will work well, and it is wireless."
Initially the interface will be used to connect to smartphones.
On their next goal, he said: "This has tremendous potential.
"We hope to have this in a human patient before the end of next year."
