Hillary Clinton Tells Joe Biden Not To Concede Defeat On Election Night ‘Under Any Circumstances’

VANCOUVER, BC - DECEMBER 13: Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks onstage during the tour for her new book 'What Happened' at Vancouver Convention Centre on December 13, 2017 in Vancouver, Canada.

Hillary Clinton warned Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden not to concede on election night “under any circumstances.”

The former Democratic candidate spoke with her former press secretary, Jennifer Palmieri, for Showtime’s The Circus, speculating that the election will be a close one.

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances,” Clinton said. “Because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually, I do believe he will win, if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is.”

Despite polls suggesting Biden is substantially ahead, Clinton insisted that President Donald Trump and his campaign will find a way to change the result on election day.

“The [Trump campaign] have a couple of scenarios that they are looking toward. One is messing up absentee balloting,” she said. “They believe that helps them so that they then get maybe a narrow advantage in the electoral college on election day.”

Trump was recently accused of pressuring the newly appointed Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, to hinder the mail-in ballot processing.

DeJoy is a longtime Trump campaign megadonor who was appointed by Trump two months ago.
