'Football Manager 2020' recently smashed it's own personal record for the number of new players!
The game is currently free on the Epic Games store until 4pm GMT on 24th September, and over 36 hours it gained an impressive 1 million new players through this deal!
'Football Manager 2020' was previously free for two weeks on Steam during March of this year, but it seems the Epic Games Store's offer has attracted more attention.
Taking to Twitter, Sports Interactive studio director Miles Jacobson wrote on the first day of the offer going live: "Given the numbers, we'll have more people try out the game on [Epic Games] in 36 hours than we had with our Steam free fortnight across 2 weeks!
5 times as many people have redeemed the offer in 1 day compared to the free fortnight".
And it turns out he was right! On Sunday he returned to Twitter to welcome the new 1 million players to the Football Manager "family".
