Ring, a security brand that is part of Amazon Group, unveiled a unique new home security product. Consisting of a compact, autonomous drone, it is set to launch in 2021.
The flying camera Ring Always Home offers various points of views of your home, and therefore replaces the multiple devices needed for complete home security.
Its users can remotely check if doors were shut or if the oven was turned off. When paired to the Ring Alarm system, the camera is able to take off instantly in case of intrusion or suspicious motions around the home.
When not in use, the drone remains docked and only begins to record when it takes off. This very light camera can follow preprogrammed routes around the house and integrates collision avoidance technology.
Ring will launch its Always Home Cam in the US in 2021 for roughly $250.
