Uniboy speaks on PSG Talon's shock Play-Ins run at Worlds 2020 Substitutes were no problem for PSG.

PSG Talon is heading to the main event group stage at the 2020 World Championship despite having to play through the Play-Ins stage with multiple substitues, including Chen "Uniboy" Chang-Chu.

Coming over from ahq Esports Club along with teammate Hsiao "Kongyue" Jen-Tso, mid laner Uniboy not only proved an effective substitute for PSG, he showed himself to be one of the team's most reliable carries during a successful Play-Ins run at Worlds 2020. In this interview translated by our partners at wanplus, Uniboy spoke on the accomplishment after PSG Talon beat Unicorns of Love in its tiebreaker match

Q: How do you feel after defeating such tricky opponents and making it out of your group?

Uniboy: I’m thrilled because we can chill for now. We didn’t want to play Unicorns of Love again.

Was it stressful for you?

It was, we didn’t want a tiebreaker game. We flashed the LGD emote [after winning against V3] and hoped that they could beat UOL so that we could avoid that tiebreaker.

Because the chance to directly advance to the group stage was on the line, both teams seemed to be a lot more cautious. Your team won an important team fight at 26 minutes, how did it happen?

I saw that two enemies were out of position. Our team was already fighting to the right under a bot turret, so I waited for Bard to go away and I killed the isolated Ziggs. After that solo kill, the team fight could be easily won.

We heard Kongyue say, “that was a tough game." What do you think you did that made you better than Unicorns of Love?

We capitalized on our win conditions better, in my opinion. We picked a late-game scaling comp, so we tried to hold on to a small gold deficit and [didn't push to] make it any larger.
