Sunday’s week three game between the Washington Football Team and the Cleveland Browns would have been forgotten to time if it weren’t for a special milestone that marked the game. This contest was the first time in NFL history that both teams had a female coach on the sidelines and there was a female referee working the game.

“On his Twitter account before the game, Rivera celebrated the milestone saying, As I am doing my final pregame prep a sense of pride has come to me. I can’t help but think of the historic significance of today. Very happy for all the women involved in our @nflgame & very proud of @JenniferKing5#GameChanger”
