There is going to be a ‘Watch Dogs Legion’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed’ crossover

The ‘Assassin’s Creed’ and ‘Watch Dogs’ franchises are both made by Ubisoft, and the team behind ‘Watch Dogs Legion’ have revealed that there is going to be a crossover.

Live producer Lathieeshe Thillainathan told GamesRadar that “the AC crossover has been a long time in the making”.

While discussing the upcoming game’s Year One plans, Thillainathan explained in a recent trailer that a female assassin called Darcy - who is a part of the Assassin Brotherhood from the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ games - is a new character that will be included in the game’s Season Pass (which is being released in December).

However, according to a report by IGN, Thillainathan also insisted that she is “not canon”, and is purely “fan service”, and added that they are “not trying to build a joint universe between [Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed].”
