Niall Horan has fears for the future of the arts industry

Niall Horan fears for the future of the arts industry in the UK.

The singer has called on the government to do more to help support the music industry through the global health crisis, saying that some people within the sector risk being "completely left behind".

Niall - who first found fame as part of hit boyband One Direction - explained to the Guardian newspaper: "When you think of Britain and the British Isles, you think fashion and music and the arts and it’s just a completely forgotten-about industry in a time of need”.

He added people that work in the arts are hard-working people that have families and mortgages and don’t qualify for furlough and said it’s beyond him that an industry that makes billions is being left behind.
