Tommy Lee says he'll leave America if Donald Trump wins the election

Tommy Lee has threatened to quit America if Donald Trump is re-elected.

The Motley Crue rocker has been an outspoken critic of the current president and he can’t think of anything worse than him winning a second term in office at next month’s election.

He said: “Dude, I swear to god if that happens then I'm coming over to visit you. I'm out of here. I'll go back to my motherland, go back to Greece and get a house on one of the islands."

The 58-year-old drummer isn’t much of a fan of Trump’s Democrat rival, Joe Biden, either but thinks it would be better to at least make a change inside the White House to see if he can do better than the “horrible” current leader.

Speaking to Big Issue magazine, he said: "It's so weird because our options aren't great either way. The guy who is our president now is just doing a f****** horrible job and he's a f****** moron.

“But at some point you've got to cut your losses, is this at least better than what we had going on? That's sad when it is the only option that we have."

Tommy thinks the worst thing about the leadership battle is he believes the rest of the world are laughing at the US.

He said: "The thing that stings the most is that I feel like we're embarrassing. I feel like people in Europe and the rest of the world look at America and think, 'What the f*** are you guys doing over there? Stop voting for celebrities and get someone real to run the country."
