'Rainbow Six Siege' is coming to Xbox Game Pass very soon

'Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege' is coming to Xbox Game Pass.

Microsoft has confirmed the hugely popular title is the next big game dropping on the console's subscription service.

Rumours first started over the weekend, when the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account dropped a not-so-subtle hint with a photo of six rainbows and a castle under siege.

Despite many fans commenting asking if the news was true, the account waited until Monday (19.10.20) to make the official announcement.

In a typically tongue in cheek way, the team tweeted: "Us: Really happy we don't have to announce anything today. Looking forward to this day off

"The email we just got: Rainbow Six Siege is coming soon to console with Xbox Game Pass and cloud gaming on Android devices"

In a blog post following the announcement, community manager Megan Spurr confirmed the title will launch on the platform later this week.

She wrote: "Hey, Operators, new step in your preparation phase: rebuild your 'to play' gaming list because 'Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege' is coming to Console with Xbox Game Pass and cloud gaming on Android devices with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on October 22.

"This highly competitive PVP game is going to give your map memorization skills a workout.

"With a thriving professional esports scene and a community of over 60 million registered players, 'Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege' puts players in the middle of a fast-paced, ever-evolving multiplayer experience grounded in the selection of unique operators."
