Lily Allen's kids mock fame 'competition' with David Harbour

Lily Allen's daughters mock David Harbour for being less famous than their mother.

The 'Not Fair' hitmaker - who has eight-year-old Ethel and seven-year-old Marnie with ex-husband Sam Cooper - admitted her kids find it "entertaining" to stir up competition between herself and her new husband, and found it hilarious when they were on holiday and she was repeatedly stopped for autographs while no one recognised the 'Stranger Things' actor.

She said: "They find it most entertaining, the competition between me and David, about fame. We went on holiday to Croatia and people did not recognise David at all, but would come up to me.

"The kids loved it, they were, like, ‘Ha ha!’, every time someone would ask for my autograph or a picture, they’d go up to David, and be, like, ‘Are you OK, David? Shall we tell them who you are?’ ”

Lily, 35, thinks her relationship with the 45-year-old actor is the most grown-up one she's ever had.

She told Sunday Times Style magazine: "He’s sober. I’m sober. We get up early. We do stuff with the kids."

The 'Smile' singer has previously confessed to being unfaithful to Sam, but she's hopeful things will be different this time around.

Asked if she thinks monogamy is possible, she said: "Erm, yeah. At this point it is. And I’d like it to stay that way. At this point we’re up for monogamy.”

Meanwhile, Lily thinks she strove to get famous because she didn't feel "heard" when she was younger.

She said: "I’d grown up in an environment where if you haven’t got anything groundbreaking to say, don’t say it. If you haven’t got anything extraordinary to offer, f*** off.

"I was quite shy in my early teens. I didn’t feel I was being heard. I feel like that’s why what happened to me happened to me.”
