There could be 'many years' of Marvel tie-ins in 'Fortnite's future!
The game has themed seasons, and it is currently in Season Four of Chapter Two: which features several different Marvel characters taking part in the ‘Nexus War’.
And it turns out that this may not be the last season to contain Marvel-themed content!
Epic Games worldwide creative director Donald Mustard recently appeared on the ‘This Week in Marvel’ podcast, and he explained that the reason why this season is called the ‘Nexus War’ “is that this is just the start of lots of stuff [Epic Games] have planned for many years of Marvel integration”.
This also isn’t the first time that there’s been a Marvel crossover event in ‘Fortnite’: last year there was an ‘Endgame’ themed event which ran for 11 days, and featured themed rewards, challenges and cosmetics.
