‘Cyberpunk 2077’ has been delayed again!

The highly anticipated title has been delayed several times: it was originally supposed to come out in April 2020, but after some delays it was expected to be released on November 19th.

However, developer CD Projekt Red have now announced that the game’s release has been pushed back by three weeks, and will now be released on December 10th.

In their statement, they said: “Since Cyberpunk 2077 evolved towards almost being a next-gen title somewhere along the way, we need to make sure everything works well and every version runs smoothly”.

This delay has surprised many people since it was recently announced that the game had ‘gone gold’, and the video game developer also addressed this in their statement, stating that while “'going gold,' means the game is ready, can be completed, and has all content in it”, they were still making improvements to the game, and CD Projekt Red went on to state: “this is the time where many improvements are being made which will then be distributed via a Day 0 patch. This is the time period we undercalculated.”
