WhatsApp has confirmed a change to how files are managed on your phone.
The new feature has now been announced, and the development will make it easier and quicker to free up space on devices as it rolls out this week.
Although it's already possible to get rid of files downloaded by the app, the new update can identify, review and bulk delete content taking up more space, rather than having to clear out everything.
The feature will allow users to just delete large files, or items which have been forwarded several times.
You'll be able to sort files in descending size order too, which will let you see videos taking up the most memory, and preview any files before deleting.
