Animal Crossing: New Horizons has sold over 26 million copies.
The highly popular life simulation game was listed in Nintendo's recent release of financial data in second place, having sold 26.04 million copies as of September 30, 2020.
New Horizons sold more than twice as many copies as its 3DS predecessor, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which sold 12.82 million copies.
First on the list for top selling games is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, having sold 28.99 million copies. And in third place is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, with 21.10 million copies and fourth is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild with 19.74 million.
