Team Tommey Wins Minnesota Rokkr’s $20K Black Ops Brawl

Tommey makes it a hat trick of tournament wins after the latest Minnesota Rokkr Black Ops Brawl.

Last night, the Minnesota Rokkr hosted the Black Ops Brawl, a $20K Black Ops Cold War tournament in partnership with Totino’s. The tournament consisted of eight teams competing in a single-elimination bracket. They played best-of-five, Call of Duty League rules matches with the final being a best-of-seven. Here’s how Team Tommey took home the victory.

Team Tommey’s Road to Victory

Team Tommey consisted of captain Tommey, and three Call of Duty pros Decemate, Simp and Slasher. They started Round One against Team Nameless, where they won 3-2 in an extremely close match. This was the only match to go to a game five in the first round of games. Showing that these were two extremely close teams.

In Round Two, Team Tommey went to another game five. This time it was against Team Censor. This was yet another close match, with it going down to the wire. However, Team Tommey clutched up and won 3-2 to advance onto the Grand Finals. Here, they played Team Teep, and in the best-of-seven, they won 4-1, convincingly taking home the win.

This tournament win saw Tommey win his third Black Ops Cold War tournament. This has led to many fans calling for him to join the LA Thieves as their fourth member, given that he is a Warzone player and Content Creator for 100 Thieves already. While this is unlikely to happen, it's great to see such a talented player dominating the scene after a year on the Empire bench.
