Jerry Murtaugh (42) and Dave Walline (76) were among NU’s four honorees on defense.

The Omaha World-Herald unveiled its All-Big Eight team Sunday, and eight Huskers made the 22-man squad.

No other school had more than four selections. The team was chosen via a poll of Big Eight coaches.

Nebraska’s Bob Newton was one of five unanimous picks, and Johnny Rodgers was one of two sophomores selected.
