Former U.S. Presidents Obama, Bush & Clinton Offer To Take COVID-19 Vaccine On TV

U.S. regulators continued to lag behind their European counterparts in the race to approve a vaccine.

While President Donald Trump has fixated on trying to overturn the election results, President-elect Joe Biden has started to form a Cabinet and announce senior White House staff including his key COVID-19 advisers.

This week, former U.S. Presidents George W. Bush,Bill Clinton and Barack Obama have volunteered to receive publicly televised vaccinations in hopes of proving the drug’s efficacy.

Coronavirus infections are surging across the U.S. as the former presidents step forward to lend their support.

Trump has tried to take credit for the unprecedented speed of developing several vaccines – despite his mishandling of the pandemic that has killed more than a quarter of a million Americans.

The former presidents may still have to wait – despite American pharmaceutical companies racing to finish stage three clinical vaccination trials, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has yet to approved one.
