Safe Spacer helps with social distancing

A company has developed a 'Safe Spacer', which makes a sound when you get too close to someone.

Social distancing has become rife currently owing to the coronavirus pandemic and now IK Multimedia have developed a wearable device, which lights up, vibrates and makes "annoying" sounds when you get within two metres of someone.

The device is said to be 10 times more accurate than Bluetooth and is available to purchase for $99.00. It can be fit within different devices including a watch, a lantern or a key chain, for example.

It is currently being used by Enrico Iori's employees in Italy and the United States in bracelets, belt clips and lanyards in order to keep everyone apart as much as possible owing to the current health crisis.
