Adam Levine rules out return to The Voice

Adam Levine has ruled out returning to 'The Voice'.

The Maroon 5 frontman left his role as a coach on the singing competition in 2017 after 16 seasons and while other stars - including Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera - have previously returned to their seats for another stint, he's suggested fans are unlikely to see him on the panel again.

Answering fan questions on Instagram Story, Adam was responding to one person who asked if he would "come back to 'The Voice'?" and replied: "No thank you?"

And the 'Girls Like You' singer also took the opportunity to poke fun at his friend and former 'Voice' co-star Blake Shelton.

Asked if he missed the country singer, he replied: "Blake who?"

Another fan then asked him to choose a "favourite" of Blake's albums, prompting him to joke: "Who is this Blake you speak of?"

Talk then turned to People's Sexiest Man Alive title, which the 41-year-old star received in 2013 and Blake was given four years later.

Asked how it felt to receive the honour, he replied: "totally silly but flattering.(sic)"

A follow-up question was then posed by another follower, who asked: "Do u think blake also being the sexiest man alive was a People's downgrade (sic)"

The 'Memories' hitmaker agreed, responding with the red 100 emoji.

Adam previously admitted he was "amazed" to receive the Sexiest Man Alive honour.

After he was given the crown, he said: "As a musician, you have fantasies that you want to win Grammys, but I didn't really think that this was on the table.

"I was just amazed and stunned and it almost seemed like they were kidding, but they weren't, so that's cool."
