Maya Jama and Stormzy spent Christmas together.
The former couple marked the recent festive holiday at the television presenter and actress' home on Christmas Day, over 18 months after they split after four years together.
A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "Stormzy and Maya remained friends after their split and they decided to spend some time together over Christmas. They kept it very low key and remained at her place in the capital. Both Stormzy and Maya have made it clear it’s too early to start talking about romance. This is very much friendship but their mates think something could happen between them in the future. They made a lovely couple and given everything that’s happened this year, it seems they could grow closer again."
Meanwhile, Maya insists she and Stormzy had a "normal relationship".
She explained: "I didn't ever feel like a celebrity couple. Everyone else made it like that. We just had a normal relationship. We met when we were like 20, before anyone cared about us. So then it was just a normal relationship. Basically, I always said it was like a normal relationship but people wanted to look at it more and talk about it more."
Maya previously revealed she preferred to date someone who isn’t famous as it is "easier" to keep things private, and she finds it difficult having so many eyes on her love life and people willing to comment on the state of her relationship.
She explained: “I think you can't help who you meet and what situations you meet in. But when you're in the public eye yourself it's obviously easier when everything is private. It's hard to meet people. Dating in the public eye is not easy. It's like dating in normal life but you just have way more eyes on you, along with paranoia and people's opinions."
