Phil Spencer thanked workers for preventing online outages over Christmas.
On Christmas Day, Xbox boss Phil Spencer took to Twitter to thank staff who worked behind-the-scenes over the holiday period to ensure no outages occurred on consoles and PCs.
It's no doubt that many gamers all around the world would have received a brand-new console or PC on the festive day and Spencer was delighted that they would be able to jump straight into gaming on the day.
He wrote on Twitter: “Thank you to all the people working behind the scenes on the platforms, services and games to ensure that all owners of new games, new consoles and new gaming PCs have a great experience today.
“No trending items or outages is gold for these teams, well done all.”
