PS5 is undoubtedly the most sought after gift this year, it is currently sold out across the board in the UK, with stock still getting snapped up fast whenever it does become available.
A new report from VGChartz - a third-party analytical website which tracks sales data throughout the games industry- estimates that PS5 sold between 2.1 and 2.5 million units worldwide on its two staggered launch dates.
PS5 stock is still extremely hard to come by, but that could be about to change, according to the Twitter account @PS5Instant. In the accounts most recent tweet it was stated that PS5 UK restocks should be happening next week, as long as there are no delays. On Twitter @PS5Instant said: "If there are no delays the next drop will happen next week. Don't PANIC buy now!! So plenty of PS5 drops will occur on the 7th and 12th. "
The majority of UK retailers have not confirmed exactly when they will be getting PS5 restocks, but the Smyths Toys website says they should be getting more stock in January.
