Our favourite video games of 2020

2020 may not have been the best year, but on the plus side we did have some good games come out this year. So we’ve made a list of our top games of 2020.

‘Doom Eternal’ was released earlier this year, and is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, Xbox One and was recently made available on the Nintendo Switch too. The first-person shooter proved to be a great game for people that love a bit of violence and gore in a sci-fi setting.

‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’ is currently available on the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store on Windows PC, Ubisoft+, and Google Stadia. The action role-playing game is the twelfth major instalment in the ‘Assassin’s Creed franchise and is perfect for people who love a bit of action and historical-fiction.

‘The Last Of Us Part 2’ is available on the PS4, and even though some fans were divided about some parts of the game’s plot, it still proved to be a hit. It won big at several award ceremonies this year: including ‘The Game Awards’, where it won seven trophies, including ‘Game of the Year’.

‘Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’ is available to play on the PS4, PC, and android, and the game quickly became popular after it was released in August. If you fancy battling it out with strangers online in a game that also looks bright and colourful, then this battle royale platformer is a great choice, and is suitable for all ages.
