Larry King's famous friends rally round coronavirus-stricken star

George Takei and Corey Feldman are among the stars to have sent messages of support to Larry King after he was hospitalised with coronavirus in December.

The 87-year-old broadcaster - who has suffered a series of medical issues over the years, including several heart attacks - has reportedly been at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for more than a week, and since the news broke on Sunday (03.01.21), his famous friends have rallied round to send their well wishes.

'Star Trek' actor George also hopes Larry recovers quickly.

He posted: "Wishing Larry King a speedy recovery."

Corey urged his followers to pray for his friend, who he hailed as the "greatest interviewer of all time".

He wrote: "VERY SAD NEWS: MY OLD FRIEND @kingsthings HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED W #COVID WHICH CAN BE VERY SCARY WHEN U R @ HIS AGE, & I KNOW HE NEEDS ALL OF R PRAYERS NOW!
