Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas reportedly have “decided to break up” over the phone.
A close source to the couple revealed to People that, after first starting to date in early 2020, the couple called it quits through a phone call.
Affleck, 48, and de Armas, 32, first met on the set of their upcoming film Deep Water, which filmed in New Orleans in 2020. The couple then took a trip to de Armas’ native country of Cuba and a second romantic getaway to Costa Rica, right before lockdown.
The two quarantined together in spring of 2020, where de Armas officially confirmed their relationship through Instagram.
De Armas also spent time with Affleck’s children on a trip to Georgia last summer. Affleck shares the children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. He previously stated his “biggest regret” in life was divorcing Garner.
